The Heinr. Böker Baumwerk GmbH was founded over 130 years ago. Against many speculations the term Baumwerk (literally meaning "treeworks") hasn´t anything to do with agriculture and forestry.

We are producing top-quality cultery for tough everyday use as well as for the growing cummunity of knife-collectors. Design, development and production are carried by our own highly qualified staff. To carry out our conceptual designs we rely on the irreplaceable skills of our craftsmen as well as on state-of-the-art CNC-production lines, which guarantee our constantly high production standards.

With a young and dedicated field service, subsidiaries in the U.S. and Argentina, and a worldwide distribution grid we are defending our position in international competition. Böker has acquired the reputation of being the most innovative manufacturer offering the highest quality. High importance is placed on quality and service. Our knives are only delivered after a series of thorough tests which guarantee optimum adaption of design and function.

New materials are only introduced to our production after extreme breaking-, corrosion-resistance-, long-term-stress-, and cutting tests carried out by independent intitutes. All our products are designed for long-evity, highest quality and operational performance.
