As a real heavy duty folder, the AK-101 has successfully proven itself in the different versions. Its extreme high sturdiness, the achieved ergonomics and multiple fields of application make the AK-101 a reliable working tool. The new AK-101 42 is another interesting model which completes the series. The flipper of the original version was not used in this edition. The thumb disc can be removed without leaving a gap in the blade spine. The handle scales are made of desert colored Zytel and are mounted on proven 1.5 mm steel plates. The knife features an exchangeable glass breaker that can safe life in an emergency case. The 440C stainless steel blade has a resistant stonewash finish and offers excellent cutting performance thanks to the recurve.
