Former Bladesports World Cutting Competition Champion Gayle Bradley is still the record holder in severing a freely suspended bundle of cords, which were 14 hemp ropes with a diameter of one inch in his case! In this competition, only self made knives are used. This is another proof of Gayle's experience and knowledge regarding blade geometry and cutting properties. Spyderco is the first manufacturer to benefit from this rich wealth of experience and turn it into a serial knife. The blade of high-quality powder-metallurgic CPM-M4 provides an excellent cutting performance, is hollow grinded and shows a fine satin finish. The liner lock will delight you with its generous dimensions and the carbon fiber scales which are carried by stainless steel bolsters contribute to the great resilience of the knife.
