The Magnum Akito is a genuine functional sword. Suitable not only for kata (forms of exercise) or Iaito (drawing exercises), but also for tameshigiri (cutting tests). In order to perform cutting tests, a very high quality, sharp and edge retaining blade is needed. The Akito blade is made of clay hardened 1045 carbon steel with real hamon (temper line). The overall structure is very robust. The blade is continuous almost to the end of the handle and is secured by two mekugis. The functional sword comes with a beautifully lacquered wooden scabbard, together with traditional eyes (Kurigata and Shito-Dome).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Sehr schönes Schwert, das gleichermaßen hübsch genug ist, um es an die Wand zu hängen, aber gleichzeitig auch eine scharfe, funktionale Klinge hat. Für diesen Preis absolut top, bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf. Lieferung kam prompt und reibungslos

Bestes Modell in dieser Preisklasse

Massive und hochwertige Verarbeitung, sehr schön gemacht. Die Schärfe ist nicht ganz gleichmäßig, reicht aber um Wasserflaschen und Papier/Pappe zu zerteilen.
Es ist bisher das beste Modell, was ich in dieser Preisklasse gesehen habe. Da es ein gehärtetes Funktionsschwert ist, sollte nachschärfen möglich sein. 4/5
