Hide Out

Cold Steel's Hide Out was designed as a small, inexpensive and super-practical neck knife. The result is a true featherweight, weighing in at just 43 g. Its satin-finished double-edged blade made of Japanese AUS 8A has a Scandi grind. It is therefore very sharp and also very resistant to bending, with a tip that remains very stable and hard-wearing despite its sharpness. The continuous tang is sheathed in a weatherproof Kray-Ex handle, which is extremely narrow and flat in design. The handle is finely contoured and deeply textured to provide both a secure grip and easy switching between different grip options. Thanks to the included Secure-Ex sheath with ball chain, the neck knife can be carried discreetly and comfortably. With lanyard loop.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
