A revolutionary new design by innovative leader Edgeware in the U.S.A. The key to success when sharpening knives is the correct sharpening angle. Often knife sharpeners deviate from the predetermined grinding angle because of the original blade geometry, making an optimal grinding result difficult to achieve. Edgeware has addressed this issue and after much research has developed an innovative sharpening device with which the user can change the sharpening angle and individually adjust it to suit the respective blade. In coarse mode, diamonds are used to pre-ground dull or damaged blades. In fine mode, the ceramic rods serve to accurately grind blades or for the daily sharpening of knives that are in constant use. In serrated mode, blades with serrations are kept permanently sharp as efficiently as possible.
