|Blade Length:||desert ironwood|
A premier introduction - already set to be a true classic. The design of Missouri knifemaker, W. C. Davis, stands out with the traditional drop point blade, whose shape has proven successful in the areas of hunting and outdoor use for decades. The stainless steel tang and bolsters carry scales of polished green canvas Micarta, which provides an excellent grip, even under wet conditions. The red fiber layers create an attractive contrast to the high polished steel. The blade steel is high quality N690, with a Rockwell Hardness of 58-60, and offers a most impressive cutting ability. Another special aspect of this piece is its slim-line construction, which allows comfortable carry in the pocket. The thickness of the handle at the bolsters is only 11 mm and approximately 14 mm at the thickest part of the scales.
The Knife Maker W.C. Davis, who unfortunately passed away in 2015 at the age of 71 years, was known mainly for his extraordinary Drop-Point Pocketknives. The American designed and manufactured handmade Hunting and Outdoor Knives, using only the finest materials and taking care of every detail. Growing up in the mountains of Arkansas, he discovered his passion for hunting and fishing early. That’s how he learned already in his young years the worth of a good knife.
