Product description

The L'Alpin is the heavier version of the classic Laguiole concept. While its elegance is directly traced to the traditional design, it nevertheless presents a slightly broader profile than its slimmer peers. The filework on the spine spring and blade are a visual treat and give the thumb additional grip.

The cornerstones for the manufactory were laid in 1915, when Anna David established her business in Thiers. Until today Robert David is manufacturing in the French capital of knife makers. Experiences and knowledge from over four generations have their influence on the handwork production. Besides classical Laguiole knives, the manufactory is producing delicate pocket knives, of course still in craftsmanship.
