Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

These Jim Wagner models were developed based on the demand for a Reality-Based Blade in a smaller, lighter version. The black coated aluminum handles are based on our famous KAL 74 series, and the blades remain unchanged. The impressive result is a lightweight but sturdy knife that proves to be reliable and highly functional. The black coated AUS-8 steel blades are locked in the open position. Also includes reversible pocket clip, interchangeable glass breaker tip and false writing pen tip. The legendary Jim Wagner RBB in a more handy version with partially serrated blade.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Which spring do I need?

What spring do I need to replace in my Böker Jim Wagner reality based blade automatic? Is it the same spring as the kalaskinav automatic or the mini automatic? I LOVE the knife; I just need to replace the spring. Thank You for your time and assistance with this matter. SemperFidelis

Jim Wagner, from California, has had many bad experiences with attacks on himself as a police officer, a law enforcement officer, a SWAT member, a soldier and a bodyguard. This has resulted in his "Reality Based Personal Protection" system.
