The unusual design of the Rocket Pen comes from the custom knife maker Darriel Caston. You not only see the oval cross section of the tactical pen right away, it also feels very pleasant to hold. Made from black anodized aluminum, the Rocket Pen is not just a capable tactical pen, but also an elegant writing tool. The bayonet mechanism with lateral slider is skillfully integrated into the line. The diameter is 8.3 / 11.3 mm. Compatible to Fisher Space Pen Refill #PR4 and Parker-style refills. To refill, loosen the T8 Torx screw at the end of the handle.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Delighted

Well, I have this pen for over an year now and let me tell you what just happened. A couple days ago I lost this pen somewhere in work. I’m a farm worker and work in the production of organic vegetables. This morning a workmate called me over to a fridge to say that he found my precious pen. It was under a pallet of carrots weighting approximately 1 ton. We lifted the pallet to find out that the pen is still working in perfect conditions. Of course it earned a few scratches but it survived over 48h under 1 ton! I’m delighted!

Darriel Caston

The knifemaker Darriel Caston is a trained engineer and a passionate science fiction writer and designer. He is also involved in haiku poetry. His designs and writing give him the inspiration he needs to develop knives. He has already won several awards as a knife maker and he founded D Rocket Designs (DRD).
