Information:
Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

The modern Magnum Rubico Auto features innovative materials and a strong spring mechanism. The 440A blade has a light stonewash finish and opens automatically with a push button. Push the button again to close the blade. The handle materials is carbon fiber with a red shimmer that gives the pocketknife a very special look. With a clip (tip-up).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Schönes Messer

Das Messer qualitativ sehr hochwertig.
Auch nach häufigem Gebrauch öffnet und schließt die Verriegelung perfekt.
Für den Preis unschlagbar.
Würde ich jeder Zeit wieder kaufen

Good action and pretty sharp blade but very poor quality control.

Every single "Magnum by Boker" knife I bought so far has had some slight defects of imperfections (although most of them were some of the cheaper "Magnum" models). However, the Rubico Auto is the only one which had such an annoying and bad defect. The steel on the handle near the section of the two screws (on the button side) was protruding and was quite sharp in the corner. The result was a handle that could easily scratch your hand's palm.
