Boker Damascus Enchoku - unique style and optimum performance, ideal for the knife aficionado. With the new Damascus Enchoku Series, our forger Andreas Henrichs has created a very special, unique Damascus steel.  This extraordinary pattern comes from a change in the forging direction during the forging process, where the Damascus block is forged upright ("enchoku" in Japanese).  This complex process requires a highly skilled and knowledgeable forger. The result of his impressive work is a fascinating blade material with 300 layers, which differs significantly from traditionally forged Damascus.  The characteristic pattern of Damascus Enchoku is further enhanced by a special etching process, which brings out the Damascus with maximum contrast - making these knives not only unique, but attractive and eye catching.  The blade steel is carbon-based Damascus (not stainless), which provides outstanding cutting performance.   The stainless steel bolster holds the blade securely in the classic Asian style handle, which is crafted of your choice of Japanese Pakkawood or specially selected olive wood.  The elegant shape allows a comfortable grip and easy handling. Each knife in this stylish new series is delivered in an attractive gift box with a certificate of authenticity. Available in July 2013

The Premium Brand: The famous knives with the tree-brand are manufactured in the German blade-city since 1869. Since then, no knife left our production without this sign of quality. The history of Boker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: our passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives.
