The combination of two extraordinary and unique materials, each of which has a course as individual as a fingerprint, is sure to inspire not only us. The 5/8 inch wide blade made of Damasteel is serrated on both sides and, thanks to the French head, blends harmoniously into the Paua handle. The strikingly shimmering shells of these shellfish are applied to a carrier material and then cast in transparent acrylic. The blade is ground extra hollow with ridge. With authentic Boker laser engraving on the blade, certificate of authenticity and elegant floating display. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.

Einfach unglaublich

Ich weiß nicht ob es sowas wie Liebe auf den ersten Blick wirklich gibt, aber als ich dieses Rasiermesser im Sortiment bei Böker gesehen habe, war mir sofort klar, das muss ich haben :-)
Meine ersten Bedenken über den Preis haben sich nach einigen Rasuren auch in Rauch aufgelöst. Die Kombination aus diesen beiden so einzigartigen Materialien ist einfach beispiellos. Die Klinge aus Damaszenerstahl ist generell schon für Schärfe und Robustheit bekannt und in dieser Variante eines Rasiermessers mit französischem Kopf einfach nur Spitzenklasse. Eine feinere Rasur kann man sich nicht wünschen.
Das hervorragend herausgearbeitete Heft aus Paua lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch bei feuchten oder nassen Händen liegt das Heft sehr gut in der Hand und ein Abrutschen oder unsicheres zu Werke gehen ist hiermit nicht gegeben. Durch die auffallend leuchtenden Muschelelemente im Heft macht das Messer zudem auch noch optisch eine wundervolle Figur und erfreut mich immer wieder aufs Neue.
Alles in allem ein außergewöhnliches und einzigartiges Rasiermesser, welches für Liebhaber genau das Richtige ist.
