The Nepalese Khukri can look back on a long tradition, has proved its suitability for combat, as demonstrated by the legendary Gurkhas when fighting for the British military. The FKMD Extreme Trakker takes the classic, angled blade shape and transposes it into a modern design. The front-heavy and extremely sturdy blade has a full thickness of 6 mm up to 15 mm from the blade tip and is therefore superb for use as a machete.

With its Forprene handle, the Extreme Trakker is secure in the hand in all weather conditions. Two lanyard holes enable the knife to be secured to the wrist. The bronze-colored HNCF coating on the N690 blade has a Vickers hardness of 3000-3500, which is within the range between corundum and diamond. An impressive knife that can prove itself in camping and outdoor use. The high-quality Cordura sheath underlines the practical usefulness of this tool.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
