This first, very special knife will create plenty of vivid memories and bring children closer to their natural environment. Old Bear Junior knives by Antonini are designed for children and stimulate the spirit of discovery in the younger generation. This handy pocket knife has blade with a rounded tip made of 420 stainless steel offering good edge retention which opens with a nail nick. The wooden handle sits ergonomically in the hand and has a strong blue color. It also has the brass ferrule and typical twist lock. The Old Bear Junior is made by Antonini in Italy and is suitable for children between the ages of four and eight.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

On the occasion of its 90th birthday, Antonini, founded in 1925, presented the Old Bear series, which represents a compelling interpretation of the classic utility pocketknife. The centerpieces of the knives are the wooden handles, which carry the traditional locking mechanism. A rotating ring inserted into the brass collar secures the blade in the deployed as well as closed position. As the active partner for this project, Todesco (Maniago/Italy) had already patented this mechanism in 1985 as a lock for pocket knives.
