Among the entire variety of combat knives, completely blackened versions are basically a must-have. The black versions are very popular, not just for military operations, but also due to the special charisma of such dagger and the added corrosion protection provided by the coating. So it was basically our duty to add such a variant of the A-F 4.5 and A-F 5.5 models. Hardly any other knifemaker has influenced the field of tactical knives as much as William H. "Bill" Harsey, his designs have earned him an excellent reputation in the knife world. His modification of the legendary Boker Applegate-Fairbairn combines the knife used by many elite units with modern elements. The larger blade width and the more favorable geometry of the double edged N690 blade with black PVD coating improve the cutting properties, while the blade length offers an optimum compromise between guidance and utility value. The tang reaches out of the end of the handle and it can be used as a windowbreaker. The CNC-milled handle scales made of black Micarta are extremely durable, pleasantly structured and offer excellent grip even when wet. Delivery includes high-quality black nylon scabbard by SpecOps.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Was für ein Messer!!!

Ich habe schon seit gut 3 Jahren einen Blick auf dieses Messer geworfen.
Habe den Kauf aber wieder und wieder hinausgezögert, weil ich knapp 350€ für ein Messer immer als zu viel empfunden habe.
Jetzt kann ich sagen: das Hinauszögern war ein Fehler und Qualität hat immer ihren Preis - und der Preis für dieses Messer ist zu 100% berechtigt !!!

Alleine der Zeitpunkt, als ich die Verpackung geöffnet und das Messer aus der Scheide herausgezogen habe, hat mich komplett überzeugt.
Mein erster Gedanke:
eigentlich etwas für die Vitrine - aber das wäre gegen die Natur dieses Messers!!!

Die hochwertige Verarbeitung, das schwarze Messerdesign, die Leichtigkeit des Messers und das Griffgefühl - ein besseres Messer hatte ich bis jetzt noch nicht in meiner Hand. Das Messer ist beidseitig scharf geschliffen und in der kompletten Ausführung sehr robust. Ich freue mich auf die ersten Einsätze.

Auch ein kleiner Sonderwunsch von mir wurde vom Böker-Team bzgl. des Messers erfüllt - vielen herzlichen Dank dafür.

Endlich einen langersehnten Traum erfüllt

Seit meinem Jugendalter, träume ich von einem Applegate. Super Aussehen und top Verarbeitung!
PS: Die im Shop erhältliche Lederscheide sitzt wie angegossen und wertet das Ganze noch einmal etwas auf ;)
