Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

That a small knife does not always have to be dainty is certainly not a new insight. But that the Boker Plus AKS-74 as a Stubby between the standard size and the mini models builds such a successful bridge, surprised us ourselves. With ergonomics that provide maximum control for larger hands or for more powerful use, the Plus AKS-74 Stubby is the first choice for anyone who appreciates a lot of power and compactness in a knife. The handy dimensions make it possible to offer a version with an only minimally shortened D2 blade that also complies with current Swiss weapons law. This allows switchblade knives only with an overall length of up to twelve centimetres with a maximum blade length of five centimetres. The EDP-coated black aluminium handle is strongly reminiscent of the bayonet of the famous assault rifle, and the raised textured panels also provide a secure grip in any situation. With lanyard hole and a practical clip (tip-up/r).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
