The Parang is actually a household knife with South-East Asian origins, and also has a permanent spot in FKMD's product range as a fixed blade knife. The folder version is based on the same solid grip design as the Meskwaki Tracker and the Aruru, including the dually secured backlock, and is an excellent choice as outdoor folder, skinner, or day-to-day companion for friends of full-sized folders The grip scales are made from laminated HPL composites. N690 blade steel. Nylon belt pouch included.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
