The award-winning Bellator is the first SYSTEMA knife developed by Eickhorn together with Andreas Weitzel, a leading SYSTEMA trainer. The knife has a blade made from the proven Eickhorn Professional Plus and is equipped with non-slip G10 scales. The shape of the handle was influenced by the Cossack sabre, also known as a shashka, whose original idea was to execute the grip, draw and slash in one fluid movement. The large, non-slip bolts, the recess in the middle section of the handle and the ergonomic finger recess enable excellent handling and quick handle changes. The knife is also the first choice for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and survival specialists. A precisely fitting Kydex sheath with belt adapter is included for flexible carrying of the knife.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

The company was founded in 1865 by Carl Eickhorn in the blade city of Solingen. The family history stretches far back into the 14th century, when the name was first mentioned in connection with knives. The company initially specialized in the production of edged weapons for the military. Today, Eickhorn offers a select range of military knives, hunting knives, rescue knives and chef's knives made in Solingen.
