Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

The Bend makes the Trend - the renowned knife designer Lucas Burnley sets new impulses with the Boker Plus Bend and pays tribute to his hometown Bend in the US state of Oregon with this homage of a practical and tactical EDC knife. Clad in elegant black, the spring-assisted pocket-knife opens the ball-bearing Spearpoint blade made of D2 smoothly and softly either by flipper or removable thumb disc, while the linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. The flattering jimpings on the handle made of GFN, which combines stability and low weight, promises a firm grip. The matching blue-coloured elements such as the liner, tip-up clip (r) or the backspacer with a lanyard hole accentuate the modern appearance of the assisted opener.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Ich habe das Böker Plus Bend im Laden gesehen und war sofort verliebt! ? Perfekte Verarbeitung, großartiges Design und ein traumhaftes Handling – einfach Liebe auf den ersten Griff. Ein Messer, das man nicht nur besitzt, sondern wirklich fühlt. ?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Liebe auf den ersten Blick – das Böker Plus Bend hat mich sofort gepackt! ?

Ich war eigentlich nur zum Stöbern im Laden… und dann lag es da: das Böker Plus Bend. Ich hab’s in die Hand genommen – und zack, verliebt! ❤️

Schon beim ersten Griff wusste ich: Das ist mein Messer.
Die Balance, das Gefühl in der Hand, diese klare, elegante Linienführung – alles hat einfach gepasst. Die Klinge öffnet so sanft und präzise, dass man fast vergisst, dass man ein Werkzeug in der Hand hat. Es wirkt mehr wie ein Stück Technik-Kunst.

Die Verarbeitung ist absolut top – kein Wackeln, kein Spiel, einfach pure Qualität. Und das Design… wow! Minimalistisch, modern und trotzdem mit dieser typischen Böker-Seele.

Ich konnte gar nicht anders, als es mitzunehmen. Seitdem liegt es fast immer griffbereit – und jedes Mal, wenn ich es benutze oder einfach nur anschaue, denke ich mir: Genau so muss ein Messer sein.

? Fazit: Ein Traummesser.
Wer es einmal in der Hand hatte, versteht sofort, warum man sich darin verlieben kann. ?

Optisch und haptisch ganz groß

Wollte unbedingt ein Lucas Burnley Messer, bin absolut zufrieden. Kleiner Minuspunkt sind die blau kolorierten Teile. Da ist die Farbe leider teilweise ab. Trotzdem ein tolles Teil.

Lucas Burnley

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Above all he believes that utility shouldn't come at the cost of beauty. In addition to Pocketknives and handy Fixed Blades, he also designs his own accessories.
