Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

The Boker Plus AKS-74 Bowie All Black from the Kalashnikov series is certainly one of the most popular models in our range and has been produced in numerous different variants over the years. The black aluminum handle is strongly reminiscent of the bayonet of the famous assault rifle and the raised textured panels provide a secure grip in any situation. The Bowie blade, also coated black, is made of AUS-8 stainless steel and can be secured by slide lock in addition to the push button. With clip (tip-up).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Schönes Messer aber leider nicht wirklich scharf

Ich habe das Messer jetzt so 3 Wochen lang und von der Optik und Verarbeitung bin ich zufrieden aber leider kam das Messer unscharf an. Es ist beinah nicht möglich ein Blatt Papier durchzuschneiden. Ich habe auch leider nicht viel Erfahrung wie man Messer richtig schärfen kann und das nötige Werkzeug habe ich ebenfalls nicht schade. Nichtsdestotrotz gefällt mir das Messer Preisleistung stimmt auch. Beim öffnen macht das Messer einen schönen lauten Klack Geräusch.
