With the Byrd Harrier 2 Spyderco creates an intermediate size of the well-known Cara Cara 2 and Meadowlark 2 knives. The Harrier 2 comes from the Byrd by Spyderco series and is highly sought after, especially by collectors. The blade has a partially serrated edge. The 8Cr13MoV blade steel was used in combination with a black G-10 handle. A special feature of the knife is the shape of the thumb hole, which differs from the normal Spyderco models. The knife is closed by a backlock, and a clip is built in for comfortable transport.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Byrd is a rather young brand of the worldwide known manufacturer Spyderco and stands for attractive pocket knives with an unbeatable price-performance ratio. The solid knives are conceived and designed by Spyderco in the USA, the manufacturing is then carried out in Asia. Instead of the characteristic round SpyderHole, the knives have a drop-shaped thumb hole and are therefore recognizable at first glance.
