The Boker Plus Caballero is a compact classic pocketknife with wooden handle scales that is light enough for any trouser or vest pocket. The satinized drop-point blade consists of D2 and is secured with a new patented backlock based on a space-saving wire bail. The elegant two-handed knife can do without any modern opening mechanism, opening instead with a nail nick. Brushed stainless steel bolsters and scales made from dark Cocobolo wood complete the design of the clipless Caballero. With a lanyard hole and high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Gutes Messer mit kleinem Makel

Das Messer ist schön aufgebaut. Die Klinge hat eine gute Form für die täglichen Herausforderungen auf der Arbeit. Jedoch muß ich einen Punkt abziehen: Das Messer liegt an sich gut in der Hand und läßt sich gut führen. Aber die Kanten, sowohl von Heft, als auch Klinge und Backlock sind sehr scharf. Das führt bei längerem Arbeiten auch gerne Mal zu Verletzungen der Haut. Mein Ausbilder würde mich mit so einem Werk direkt zum Thema Kantenbrechen deutlich 'aufklären'.
Da das Messer-Chassis geschraubt ist, habe ich die Kanten mit einem Arkansas-Hartstein gebrochen. Nun liegt es perfekt in der Hand und meine Hosentasche bleibt auch heil.
