Ostap Hel made his first knife in his father's workshop in 2009. In the meantime, he has turned his passion into his profession and has been a full-time knifemaker and designer since completing his studies. Besides knives he also designs small gadgets and jewellery. Some of his designs are successfully produced by Real Steel and other manufacturers.

CIVIVI is still a young brand of the Chinese manufacturer WE Knife, which specializes in affordable budget knives. However, the high quality standards of WE Knife continue to be relied upon during production, and the amazingly good price-performance ratio is achieved by the choice of materials alone.
