Boker Damast Annual Knife 2026 - Since 1980, the exclusive Boker Damast Annual Knife has represented the pinnacle of pioneering quality, exquisite materials, masterful craftsmanship, and timeless design. The 2026 edition draws inspiration from the iconic Boker Kihon Bifold, designed by U.S. knifemaker Lucas Burnley, and interprets its clear design philosophy in a strictly limited edition of 999 pieces worldwide.
The term Kihon refers to the fundamental techniques of Japanese martial arts—a concept reflected in the knife’s minimalist, functional, and refined design. The impressive 160-layer Damascus blade, featuring a classic ladder pattern, delivers excellent edge retention along with a dynamic, expressive appearance.
Intuitive and secure operation is ensured by the thumb stud and back lock mechanism. The handle is crafted from premium carbon fiber, complementing the elegant blade with a modern, lightweight, and highly durable character. Handcrafted in Solingen, this exceptional EDC pocket knife embodies the meticulous attention to detail for which Boker has been renowned for generations.
This exclusive collector’s piece is presented in a high-quality display case, underscoring the uniqueness and value of the model.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
Damast Annual Knife 2026
My number is 290.
I have always been a fan of Böker, so when I received a message that this knife was available for purchase I did not hesitate long and I was not disappointed.
I should say right away that the photos do not fully reflect what you see when you actually receive the knife. It is excellent in every respect and easily deserves a place in a collection or on a display shelf. The carbon fiber handle is solid with no flex and the lock works perfectly. Owners of the Böker Kihon Bifold 42a will understand what I mean.
A special mention should go to the 160 layer Damascus blade. It has a real wow effect and in my opinion it is even more impressive than the Damascus used on the Sherman M4 (my opinion). Again the photographs do not show this properly. Depending on the angle and the light the pattern on the blade constantly changes and creates a very impressive visual effect.

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Above all he believes that utility shouldn't come at the cost of beauty. In addition to Pocketknives and handy Fixed Blades, he also designs his own accessories.
