The Defender 110 was designed as a fixed blade knife for the highest demands in the outdoor sector. The back of the blade can withstand massive hammer blows, making batoning a breeze. The non-slip, closed G10 handle scales allow the machete to be handled safely. The end of the handle has an additional hole for attaching a wrist strap or safety cord. Equipped in this way, this exceptional knife offers the outdoor enthusiast sufficient reserves. Even the roughest forestry work is no real challenge for this knife. The long, straight edge of the Eickhorn Professional Steel blade has been tried and tested for centuries and is easy to resharpen. Supplied with Cordura sheath.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

The company was founded in 1865 by Carl Eickhorn in the blade city of Solingen. The family history stretches far back into the 14th century, when the name was first mentioned in connection with knives. The company initially specialized in the production of edged weapons for the military. Today, Eickhorn offers a select range of military knives, hunting knives, rescue knives and chef's knives made in Solingen.
