With the Magnum Dejavu, we managed to take the almost 30-year-old pioneering invention of the one-piece self-supporting framelock and make it even better. In the original construction, the handle and lock consist of a single v-shaped spring. The handle and blade are just connected on one side – a relatively weak connection. For the Dejavu knives, a spacer with a screw was placed right next to the blade shaft. Both hold a small counter-plate. Thus, the blade shaft is connected on both sides, just like a regular folder, which distributes the load symmetrically. This makes the knife much more stable without compromising the clean and slender character of this design. Handle scales consist of classic Cocobolo. The knife can be opened one-handed.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
