The Nitecore EDC23 is the smallest model in the EDC family, but its performance is no less impressive. The two NiteLab UHi 25 LEDs provide 2500 lumens with a maximum light range of up to 280 meters. The extremely compact design makes the flashlight the ideal everyday companion. A two-part aluminum housing and a frame made of fiber-reinforced plastic ensure enormous robustness, so that dust and splash water are kept out in accordance with IP54. The temperature monitoring of the Nitecore EDC23 ensures maximum burn time in HIGH mode. The RAPID-LOCK switch on the side of the EDC23 can be half or fully locked, effectively preventing the lamp from being switched on unintentionally. It can be unlocked in a fraction of a second. A sensor provides additional safety. The EDC23 is operated via two switches, the main switch and the mode switch. The integrated Li-Ion battery with 1500mAh is charged via a USB-C charging port and enables a maximum lighting time of 39 hours. The OLED display shows useful information such as light level, battery status or remaining light duration. Supplied with USB-C charging cable and lanyard.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
