Eggen has a beautiful handle, crafted out of curly birch, sanded and polished to a satin finish. The well-shaped handle finishes off towards the blade with a well-proportioned finger guard for safety. The blade is made from H3LS (Helle Triple Laminate Stainless), a fully stainless, triple-laminated premium steel developed by Helle and has a slight drop point shape and a classic scandi grind. The Eggen knife is one of the staff favorites and also a favorite of many users around the world. This is as a true all-round knife, recommended for a wide range of tasks. Delivered with a sheath of genuine high-quality leather and a belt loop for secure carry on the belt.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Helle

It all began in 1932, when brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle turned their passion into a profession in a small forge on their family farm in the picturesque village of Holmedal on the breathtaking west coast of Norway. Inspired by their father, the village blacksmith, they set about designing knives that perfectly combine form and function. Today, their legacy lives on as their grandchildren continue to work with skilled local craftsmen in the same village. Surrounded by majestic mountains and deep fjords, the Helle team is still driven by the same mission: To make knives that not only work, but also connect with the beauty of nature.
