The quality of Hogue knives convinced SIG Sauer: The EX-02 SIG Folder, produced under license for SIG Sauer, shows a clear kinship to the popular pistols, especially in its handle. The solid construction is based on stainless liners housing the linerlock. The blade of 154CM opens with a flipper. The scales have a classic check pattern with the SIG logo. Reversible clip (tip-up/tip-down). With a black G10 handle and a blade with Cerakote coating.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Allen Elishewitz

Knife Maker Allen Elishewitz was born in Texas, has been interested in knives ever since he was very young and has been practicing different martial arts over the past 30 years. These trainings, along with his experiences as a Recon Marine, gave him the perfect background to design both defense and utility knives. He has been making knives since 1988, constantly researching, refining and developing this craft. Allen Elishewitz is a member of the American Knifemakers Guild since 1994, at that time he was the youngest Guild Member.

SIG Sauer is a German arms manufacturer based in Schleswig-Holstein, which dates back to the arms manufacturer Lorenz Sauer founded in Suhl in 1751. More than half of the weapons produced in Eckernförde are exported to the United States and sold there. The knives are manufactured by the American manufacturer Hogue under licence for SIG Sauer. Founded in 1968 and now run by the third generation, the company has made an excellent name for itself in the past.
