The Magnum Fire Chief is a massive and impressive Rescue Knife. The eye-catching color combination of red and black highlights the purpose of this knife. It is designed as an emergency tool with glass breaker, belt cutter and partially serrated blade. A stable linerlock provides the necessary stability. The golden emblem which is embedded in the handle dedicates the knife to the men and women in the fire brigades. With clip.

The Magnum Rescue Knives are fully functional and ready to use, but they have not been designed for the daily, demanding use of professional first responders. For professional users we recommend for example the models Boker Plus Savior or FKMD A.L.S.R. 2.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Schöner Messer

Die Klinge ist scharf, und auch der Auslöse Mechanismus der Klinge funktioniert prima, leider muss man gerade deswegen aufpassen, denn so etwas ist in Deutschland hart an der Grenze. Nur wenn das Messer als Rettungsmesser ausgezeichnet is darf man es in der Öffentlichkeit dragen und das ist es leider nicht .

Enorme Verletzungsgefahr!!!

Ein sehr stabiles Messer, die Klinge lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, Glasbrecher funktioniert einwandfrei, Gurtmesser konnte ich bisher noch nicht testen - außer an meinem Ringfinger...
Habe das Messer wie vorgesehen am Gürtel getragen. Beim Entnehmen vom Gürtel habe ich mit dem Ringfinger nicht stark in das Gurtmesser gefasst, dennoch hatte das einen tiefen Schnitt zur Folge, der nicht sonderlich schmerzhaft war, habe es erst gemerkt als mir das Blut über die Hand gelaufen ist. Das Gurtmesser ist auch anders, als auf den Fotos dargestellt, sodass man sogar beim Bedienen der Messerklinge am Griff sich ohne Handschuhe sehr leicht schneiden kann. Hier ist definitiv eine weitere Schutzvorrichtung nötig. Das Messer ist für den täglichen Einsatzdienst leider völlig ungeeignet.
