The Viper GMR Hybrid Cryo CF is a purpose-built fixed blade knife designed for maximum reliability and high performance in outdoor and tactical environments. The name GMR reflects the initials of Tecnocut-Viper’s founding owners, honoring the brand’s artisanal heritage and engineering expertise. This fixed blade combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced materials.
The blade is crafted from Hybrid Cryo steel with a stonewashed finish, delivering excellent edge retention, strong durability, and dependable corrosion resistance. Hardened to HRC 59–61, it provides a well-balanced blend of toughness and cutting efficiency. Whether used for bushcraft, camping, hunting, or demanding field applications, this outdoor knife is built to perform under pressure.
As a true full tang knife, the Viper GMR ensures maximum structural strength and resilience. The monoblock-style handle with exposed tang enhances stability while allowing for simplified cleaning and maintenance. The carbon fiber handle scales offer a modern appearance, high resistance, and lightweight performance. Sandblasted AISI 303 screws complete the premium construction. The knife comes with a durable leather sheath for secure carry and classic protection.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
