KitchenIQ's Gourmet Edge Grip Pull-Through knife sharpener is made of cast aluminum and is therefore very robust and highly durable. Thanks to the comfortable handle, the knife sharpener can be operated easily and safely. It features non-slip rubber feet and a V-shaped base that allows sharpening at a table edge. Instead of the usual carbide inserts, diamond inserts ensure the usual pre-grind. The diamond inserts and the cross-mounted ceramic grinding inserts offer a high level of operating safety with the fixed grinding angle and deliver consistently good results even without prior knowledge or experience. While the diamond inserts ensure the quick restoration of the cutting geometry, the fine ceramic inserts are responsible for the subsequent fine grind or for the quick "refresh" of the sharpness in-between regular maintenance.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
