The Helle Harding Rubin is a special anniversary edition of one of the most iconic knives from the renowned Norwegian knife manufacturer Helle. Inspired by the classic Harding model, this limited collector’s knife combines traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship with a striking modern appearance. For outdoor enthusiasts, bushcraft users and knife collectors, this model represents authentic design, premium materials and a long Nordic knife-making tradition.

A defining feature of the knife is the carefully crafted handle, created through a layered combination of selected materials. One of the most remarkable elements is the use of spalted beech sourced from 1986 – the same year the original Harding was first produced. Spalted wood develops when natural fungi alter the internal structure of the wood, resulting in unique grain patterns, contrasting tones and beautiful organic textures that make each handle truly distinctive.

The historic beech is combined with stabilized wood elements and red leather layers that give the knife its characteristic ruby-inspired appearance. The updated handle pattern introduces additional layers, creating greater visual depth while maintaining the balanced aesthetic of the original Harding design.

The highly polished Scandinavian drop-point blade made from H3LS steel offers reliable performance and versatility for outdoor use. Whether used for hiking, bushcraft, camping or displayed as a collector’s item, the Harding Rubin blends practical functionality with timeless Nordic design.

Warning and safety information:
