Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently, the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.


With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Assisted Copper the American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements down-to-earth in solid everyday knives. Features and the straightforward design bear witness to its high practical suitability and give the knife an ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The ball-bearing Harpoon blade made of D2 has a stonewash finish and opens with spring support via flipper or thumb stud. The blade is secured by a robust stainless steel linerlock. The copper handle fits securely in the hand in terms of shape and weight and shows a characteristic patina after only a short time. With lanyard hole, clip (tip-up/r) and high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

sehr gut

Es funktioniert ganz wunderbar. Dazu sieht es auch noch verdammt gut aus und vermittelt dank des Gewichts hohe Wertigkeit. Es wird dazu mit der Zeit immer schöner.

Wunderbares Messer

Ich hatte das Copper mit im 4 wöchigen Toscana-Tripp unx bin froh es wieder mitgebracht zu haben. Jeder, wirklich jeder der es sah und in der Hand hatte wollte es mir abkaufen oder gleich eintauschen gegen Wurst und oder Käse. Aber so ein Messer, das bdim Gebrauch immer individueller wird gibt Mann nicht her - auf gar keinen Fall. Mal ganz abgesehen von der fa tastischen Haptik und demshr gut zu schleifenden Stahl. Tolles Messer !

Mein Mann ist sehr zufrieden und lobt vor allem das einzigartige Material des Griffs, obwohl es mir eher etwas angelaufen und "dreckig" vorkommt. Aber er sagt, dass muss so sein :D
