The great popularity that the Old Bear knives enjoy shows how great the customers' desire for such an original, almost archaic knife is. The Old Bear Rainbow series shows that the robust and simple technology can also be combined with a very modern design. Not only the very young knife users are happy about the rainbow-coloured handles. They also make the knife clearly visible in almost any environment and drastically reduce the risk of overlooking and losing it. The blades are made of 420.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

On the occasion of its 90th birthday, Antonini, founded in 1925, presented the Old Bear series, which represents a compelling interpretation of the classic utility pocketknife. The centerpieces of the knives are the wooden handles, which carry the traditional locking mechanism. A rotating ring inserted into the brass collar secures the blade in the deployed as well as closed position. As the active partner for this project, Todesco (Maniago/Italy) had already patented this mechanism in 1985 as a lock for pocket knives.
