Fans of fixed knives will also be pleased by Boris Manasherov. The Boker Plus Masada Fixed can handle everyday life as well as tactical tasks and offers Manasherov's usual perfectly ergonomic design. The massive full tang knife is made of D2. Unlike the folding versions, this knife has a Persian-style blade that combines sturdiness and versatility. The butt is shaped as a striker with integrated lanyard hole. The Masada Fixed comes with a Kydex sheath with belt adapter for many carry options. G10 handle scales. Blade with a stonewash finish.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.

Einfach ein gutes Messer

Ich habe das Messer mittlerweile seid etwa 2,5 Jahren. Es ist durch das Nachschleifen schon etwas schmaler geworden;) Ein riesiger Vorteil ist die Größe von 11,7 cm Klingenlänge. Danach wäre es 42a Konform, ist musste es bisher aber noch nie drauf ankommen lassen. Die Scheide ist zwar etwas fragil, passt aber perfekt von innen anliegend in die Hose an den Gürtel. So wird es auch im Sommer extrem unauffällig. Bei dem verarbeiten von Wild hat sich die Klingenform bewiesen. Ein Häuten von Schwarzwild war gut möglich. Das G10 war hier auch immer von Vorteil weil das Blut und das Fett keine Spuren an dem Material hinterlässt und somit nicht ranzig wird wie es bei Holz der Fall wäre. Auch verliert man, aufgrund der Griffform, trotz Schmiererei nicht den Halt und läuft Gefahr mit der Hand in die Klinge zu rutschen.Einfach ein gutes Messer. Sollte es verloren gehen, wird das gleiche nochmal gekauft.

Ein Prachtstück

Das Messer kam wie beschrieben, war sehr, sehr scharf out of the box und ist durch die Klingenform jagdlich sehr gut zu brauchen. Optik, Haptik und der Preis stimmen, zwecks Hygiene ist eine Kydexscheide Leder immer vorzuziehen, der Rest ist reine Geschmacksache. Was ich noch cool an diesem Messer finde: Ich habe die Seriennummer 0001. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ding und vergebe eine sehr gute 10

Schön in XL

Auf Bildern wirkte es schlanker, als ich es erhielt war ich überrascht ob der etwas üppigeren Breite. Doch die elegant geschwungene Linienführung kompensiert das bald. Es hätte schärfer sein können, hier ist Nacharbeit erforderlich, will man es benutzen...und dazu wurde es ja geschaffen. Die schnöde Hartplastikscheide mag das Messer ja gut schützen, ist aber so unschön, dass es einen derben Kontrast zum Masada bildet. Dafür kann das Messer ja nichts, allenfalls der Hersteller. Immerhin lässt es sich leichter aus der Arretierung lösen als beim Operator 7 (siehe dazu meine Bewertung). Alles in allem eine wohlverdiente, rundliche 8
