Wilfried Gorski, Solingen custom knife maker and member of the German Knifemakers' guild, is not only well known for his elegant and high-performing concepts and high-precision handicraft but also for his enormous inventiveness. We are particularly happy about our collaboration and are proud to present the Merlin, a typical Gorski knife. For the first time in serial production, the Merlin has been equipped with the so-called Interlock auf. This patented lock is comfortably opened by a small slide on the back of the handle which is pulled back against spring pressure. Despite its flat and slim design, the solid steel structure of the knife provides a high level of stability which is also underlined by the use of N690 blade steel. A particular touch is the handle inset of certified imported palisander. Being a true Gentleman knife, the Merlin will not only find friends among collectors and users but also among enthusiastic technology aficionados. Satin-finished blade. Without clip.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
