The Kizer Microbe is a compact, high-quality EDC folding knife designed for maximum everyday usability, premium materials, and a modern lightweight design. Developed by Maksim Epifantsev, this model is aimed at users who want a highly portable yet capable knife for daily cutting tasks.
The blade is made from M390 steel, offering an outstanding combination of exceptional edge retention, very high corrosion resistance, and excellent wear resistance. With a hardness of 58–60 HRC, it delivers long-lasting cutting performance. The Drop Point blade shape ensures versatility, control, and a strong tip.
The matte DLC Ultra finish reduces reflections, increases surface durability, and improves abrasion resistance. The flat grind geometry provides efficient cutting with good control.
The handle is made from Fat Carbon Black Dune, combining low weight with high strength and a distinctive black carbon texture. It offers secure grip and a modern premium feel.
The thumb opening enables fast one-handed deployment. The button liner lock with a purple button ensures secure locking while adding a visual accent.
The Kizer Microbe combines M390 steel, Fat Carbon handle construction, and modern locking technology into a compact, high-performance EDC knife.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
