Exoskeleton, gravity and a futuristic design - what sounds like ingredients for a science fiction film, Reate makes real and tangible with the MINI-EXO. The compact drop knife does without common opening aids and relies solely on gravity and the support structure of the titanium handle. By operating the small lever, one half of the handle is opened sideways so that the dagger blade, which is ground on both sides and made of powder metallurgy CPM-3V, slips out of the handle body simply by gravity or centrifugal force. To lock the blade, simply close the handle half and secure it with the small lever. This mechanism increases the everyday utility and stands for high durability. The weightless design is rounded off by the multicolored micarta handle inlay, a stonewash blade finish and the titanium clip (tip-down/r).
