The PARA-II skeletonized knife has been further developed by Eickhorn as a lightweight and powerful backup knife. The shape of the handle has been adapted for better handling, as has the shape of the Eickhorn Professional Steel blade for better performance. What has remained is the sensationally low weight of just 49 g. The PARA II is very easy to handle even when wearing gloves and can be carried inconspicuously as a neck knife. The design focuses on compactness, weight and durability. Supplied with a perfectly fitting sheath.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

The company was founded in 1865 by Carl Eickhorn in the blade city of Solingen. The family history stretches far back into the 14th century, when the name was first mentioned in connection with knives. The company initially specialized in the production of edged weapons for the military. Today, Eickhorn offers a select range of military knives, hunting knives, rescue knives and chef's knives made in Solingen.
