Even the first glance at the Boker Plus RBB reveals that it is a professional tactical knife. After the internationally renowned close combat expert Jim Wagner has already trained several special police units in Germany, we have developed a tactical pocket knife together with him for use by police, military and security services. The result is the Jim Wagner Reality-Based Blade.

The Jim Wagner design has tactical characteristics that have never been seen before in the knife world in this combination: A Gladius blade tip, a Kriss cutting edge, two grooves, ergonomic finger grooves with a non-slip structure, a non-structured groove for easier finding and lifting of the thumb stud as well as a trouser clip with two end pieces that can be mounted on either side. Furthermore, the completely blackened knife convinces with an upwardly pronounced hand protection and a lanyard hole to secure the knife in use.

When the blade is retracted, the handle and exposed blade is designed to be a tight impact weapon. In order to absorb the enormous forces to which the knife can be subjected, it was equipped with a backlock. Under the glass fibre reinforced plastic handles are additional hardened stainless steel liners, which gives the knife outstanding stability and the necessary weighting.

The blade made of 440C guarantees the required cutting durability and corrosion resistance and is serrated. The knife not only bears the name of the designer, Jim Wagner, but also stands for his very successful martial arts system: Reality-Based Personal Protection. Jim Wagner's system has already been taught to the American FBI, the Israeli Special Forces, the German Federal Police and the Canadian Royal Mounted Police. The list could easily be continued. All the experiences the designer had during his several police and military missions were put into the concept of this knife.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Jim Wagner

Jim Wagner, from California, has had many bad experiences with attacks on himself as a police officer, a law enforcement officer, a SWAT member, a soldier and a bodyguard. This has resulted in his "Reality Based Personal Protection" system. Many international Special Forces use his techniques and have been trained by him, among others in Germany, Israel, Brazil, Mexico and the USA. His designs are absolutely useable in operations, his longstanding experience flows into every single knife.
