What prepares you for a real fight? A flat, round, unrealistic focus glove or a hitting target the same shape as a human head? For the price of a quality focus glove go with the Reality-Based Impact Head. Inside is a hard plastic skull and the "skin" is a non-tear rubber that will last for years. In the back of the head is a large handle to hold while a hitter strikes the life-like target. This target has revolutionized the way people train for real fights because it lets you know if you are striking correctly or not due to the curves of the face and hard areas like the forehead or chin. Focus gloves give a false sense of security because they are soft and flat. The Jim Wagner Reality-Based Personal Protection system was the first self-defense system in the world to adopt and endorse this target, formerly called The Hammerhead. The inventor was so grateful to Wagner?s commitment to his product, and for spreading this teaching tool internationally, that he let Jim Wagner rename the product and redesign the logo. The logo is a Jim Wagner original. This product is for everyone serious about reality-based self-defense training.

Jim Wagner

Jim Wagner, from California, has had many bad experiences with attacks on himself as a police officer, a law enforcement officer, a SWAT member, a soldier and a bodyguard. This has resulted in his "Reality Based Personal Protection" system. Many international Special Forces use his techniques and have been trained by him, among others in Germany, Israel, Brazil, Mexico and the USA. His designs are absolutely useable in operations, his longstanding experience flows into every single knife.
