Hunting and gamekeeping is still a significant part of our cultural heritage. Today, environmental issues are more and more shaping this tradition, giving it a prominent place in modern society. Our Jäger Gold Series pays homage to our rich heritage and honors all hunters doing their part in the effort to preserve nature.

The real gold-etched blades were common in high-quality knives during the Golden Age of the Solingen knife industry. The classic tendrils of oak leaves highlight the exclusive concept, being true to the classic manufacturing techniques that are close to extinction today. The fine local walnut burl wood of the scales and the fine-ground blades exude timeless elegance.

Since 1985, the Boker Scout has been firmly connected to our name since 1985. The extremely robust body is sintered out of a single piece of nickel silver and then polished. Sintering involves mixing the basic materials, heat bonding and shaping them. The hollow-ground blade of stainless N690 is forged by Böhler, the bold shape contributing to the matchless overall appearance of the Scout. A classic backlock secures the blade and securely keeps it open. Comes with a high-quality leather belt holster.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Das ist jetzt mein viertes Messer das ich bestellt habe. Zwei habe ich verschenkt und die Freude war riesengroß. Mein erstes Messer habe ich auf der Messe gekauft und es wahr mit einem Wort gesagt Super. Es hat mich fast 20 Jahre begleitet und selbst nach so vielen Jahren staunten immer wieder meine Bekannten über mein Messer. Leider habe ich es verloren und der Finder wird wahrscheinlich ebenso zufrieden sein wie ich. Ich gönne es ihm. Nun habe ich das Scout Jäger Gold bekommen und es ist fast selbstverständlich das es höchsten Quatitätsansprüchen gerecht wird. Da ist kein Spalt zwischen Neusilber und Holz. Wenn man das Messer öffnet kann man ja mal versuchen die Klinge seitlich zu bewegen, nix. Die Klinge sitzt super stabil im Messergriff. Wenn man es in der Hand hält merkt man die Wertigkeit und es fühlt sich einfach gut an. Die Schärfe habe ich an meinen Haaren am Arm geprüft, jetzt habe ich da eine kahle Stelle, mehr muss ich wohl nicht schreiben.
