The Spyderco Shaman Lightweight Black Blade is a purpose-built performance folding knife designed for demanding EDC, outdoor, and tactical use. As a lighter version of the highly respected Shaman platform, this model combines exceptional durability, ergonomic handling, and modern materials in a sleek all-black configuration. Its reduced weight enhances everyday carry comfort while preserving the legendary strength and reliability that made the Shaman series famous.

The full-flat-ground blade is crafted from CTS BD1N stainless steel, delivering an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. The durable Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating minimizes reflections and enhances the blade’s low-profile tactical appearance. Thanks to its highly efficient blade geometry, the knife performs exceptionally well for heavy-duty cutting tasks, utility work, and professional everyday carry applications. Spyderco’s signature opening feature ensures fast and controlled one-handed deployment, even while wearing gloves.

For outstanding structural strength, the Shaman Lightweight features skeletonized stainless steel liners paired with Spyderco’s proven Compression Lock mechanism, providing secure lockup and smooth operation. The ergonomic handle scales are made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a pebble-textured surface that offers superior grip in wet or challenging conditions. The black-coated hardware, liners, and pocket clip complete the knife’s fully tactical appearance.

The versatile four-position pocket clip supports left- or right-side carry in both tip-up and tip-down configurations for maximum carry flexibility. An integrated lanyard hole adds additional attachment options for outdoor and tactical setups. Warning and safety information:
