The Spyderco Shaman Lightweight Black Blade SpyderEdge is a high-performance tactical and EDC folding knife engineered for maximum cutting efficiency in demanding environments. As a lighter version of the highly respected Shaman platform, this model combines exceptional durability, modern materials, and aggressive cutting performance in a sleek all-black configuration. Featuring Spyderco’s renowned SpyderEdge serrated blade, it is especially effective on fibrous and tough materials where powerful slicing performance is critical.

The full-flat-ground blade is crafted from CTS BD1N stainless steel, offering an outstanding balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. The durable black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating minimizes reflections while enhancing the knife’s tactical appearance. The aggressive SpyderEdge serrated edge delivers exceptional cutting power on rope, straps, webbing, textiles, and other demanding materials, making it ideal for rescue, outdoor, professional, and heavy-duty EDC applications. Spyderco’s signature opening feature enables fast and controlled one-handed deployment, even while wearing gloves.

For exceptional strength and reliability, the Shaman Lightweight features skeletonized stainless steel liners combined with Spyderco’s proven Compression Lock mechanism, ensuring secure lockup and smooth operation. The ergonomic handle scales are made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a pebble-textured surface that provides excellent grip in wet or challenging conditions. The black-coated hardware, liners, and pocket clip complete the knife’s fully tactical all-black design.

The versatile four-position pocket clip supports left- or right-side carry in both tip-up and tip-down configurations for maximum carry flexibility. An integrated lanyard hole provides additional attachment options for outdoor and tactical setups. Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
