Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

The easy-to-use Boker Speedlock, available in both sizes and supplied with millions of copies over the decades, has secured a broad following ranging from ordinary pocket knife users to official users to knife collectors in search of something special. Without changing the proven and unbrokenly popular design, we have extensively revised the technical inner workings of the aluminium handle and the mechanics of the automatic knife over the years, thus once again significantly increasing the performance and reliability of the Speedlock.

Thanks to its size, the smaller Speedlock II can be carried even more comfortably in a trouser pocket. This version impresses with a matt blade made of stainless 4034, which harmonises perfectly with the black-coated handle. The inlays of the robust aluminium handle body are made of dark red Kraton and always lie securely in the hand thanks to their fine texture. Supplied with a practical lanyard hole and a high-quality felt pouch for storage. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
