The full-size KLY 7-1.5 RA splitting axe makes splitting firewood for the fireplace or campfire child's play. Thanks to the narrow shape of the forged carbon steel axe head, the compact axe does not get stuck in the wood easily. The handle made of American hickory wood, which is particularly resilient to shocks, makes for fatigue-free work.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

The measure of all things - for some an aspiration, for Karl-Hilmer Johansson Kollén it was once a reality, in both senses of the word. In 1883, the aspiring engineer succeeded in making the metric measuring system acceptable in Sweden with the invention of the folding ruler, better known today as the folding rule. A large market was quickly recognized that wanted to be served. Factories were established, but they soon reached the limits of their capacity until they finally moved to the Swedish village of Hultafors in 1907 in order to make optimum use of the infrastructure and water power. What began as a measuring tool evolved into a comprehensive product portfolio for engineers, architects and craftsmen. Today, the product range includes axes, knives, hammers, chisels, saws, lever tools and measuring instruments of all kinds - of course as state of the art; as the measure of all things!
