Kansei Matsuno is known for his very slender and lightweight designs, where he combines Japanese style elements with modern construction and materials. With the Boker Plus Takara, the custom knifemaker presents a much more solid gentleman folder that still features the same elegant lines. The size of the slightly curved knife is the perfect blend of pocket size and versatility.

The D2 blade has a fine lengthwise satinized finish with decorative filework on the spine that also serves as a thumb rest. It rests on ball bearings and opens with the front flipper that is typical for the Japanese knifemaker's designs. The blade is secured with a sturdy linerlock. The slightly contoured handle scales are made from exclusive Cocobolo wood mounted on solid stainless liners. The full-length spacer also consists of stainless steel, creating an elegant contrast to the dark scales. A black leather lanyard and 3D CNC-milled clip complete the design. With high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Einfach herrlich

Das Messer gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut. Da passt vom Design einfach alles super zusammen. Lässt sich wunderbar öffnen. Der Linerlock ist gut eingestellt und hält super. Der D2 Stahl lässt sich einfach und echt scharf schleifen.
Ich nutze das Messer für diverse Schnippelarbeiten auf Tagestouren.

Das ist echt mein neues Lieblingsmesser geworden weil es optisch einfach so schön ist.

Das Messer habe ich Ostern 2020 gekauft. Sehr schöne Linienführung, tolle Funktionalität, liegt sehr gut in der (großen) Hand. Der kugelgelagerte Öffnungsmechanismus ist Butterweich und hält die Klinge bombenfest. Der Klindenstahl D2 schneidet exzellent,

Edle Linien

Das Messer hat mich wegen der Linien sehr angesprochen, es ist einfach gehalten aber sehr schön.
Es fühlt sich gut an, besonders mit dem Holz.
Es hat eine sehr schöne Symmetrie, deswegen habe ich mir das bestellt.

Kansei Matsuno

The Japanese Knife Maker Kansei Matsuno is a master of his craft, and his designs undoubtedly have their own style.
