Ever since we were founded by Heinrich Boker in 1869, we have considered ourselves a manufacture with historical awareness. With these years of uninterrupted company history in Solingen, we feel as committed to our heritage and tradition as we are to innovation and modern technology. The extremely versatile model range of our Solingen manufacture underlines this business philosophy. Boker Mexico was founded in 1865 by Robert Boker, Heinrich's cousin. The company is still owned by the Boker family, now in its 4th generation. On occasion of the 150th anniversary of Boker Mexico we obtained access to very interesting documents there of which we had previously not been aware and which placed the history of the Boker brand in a new light. Back in Solingen, we immediately consulted historians from the Bergisches Land and after some calculation and verification found out that that the Boker family first registered the coat of arms with the famous tree as "private brand" in 1674. This historic coat of arms features a green tree on silver field at the shore of a blue river. We see this as a direct reference to the whetstones which were water-powered even then. The thus were able to prove that the history of the Boker tree is more than 343 years old! Of course we took this discovery as an occasion to design a special limited edition to celebrate the year of the trademark registration appropriately. We chose Amboina root wood for the uniform scales of the edition models, one of the most popular wood types which is used here only stabilized and certified imported. The finely stropped blades come with the traditional Solingen blade finish. The selection of the models includes classics as well as important models in more recent history. Every knife is strictly limited to 343 units. Delivery with certificate and individual serial number.

The Boker Turbine fulfils all the requirements of a tactical pocket knife and yet does not look martial. The noble inlay made of certified imported Amboina wood makes an important contribution here. The 4 millimetre thick blade is made of nitrogen alloyed X-15T.N., which is characterised by high corrosion resistance. A stable linerlock takes over the locking. Thanks to the pleasantly shaped finger grooves, the knife lies particularly securely in the hand. The distinctive handguard at the end of the blade increases grip and simultaneously serves as a flipper. The clip can be worn both tip-up and tip-down, the open clip recess is optically covered with an enclosed plate.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
